Ryan Hafey

Ryan Hafey is a distinguished attorney whose career is marked by a blend of academic prowess and hands-on experience, underpinned by a profound commitment to social justice.

Ryan commenced his legal journey at The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, where he provided invaluable support to the legal team at the Department of Airports. He then shifted his focus to Immigration Law, delving into the complexities of asylum and deportation cases at a large law firm in downtown San Francisco. His clientele predominantly hailed from regions like India, Nepal, and Central America.

In 2021, Ryan found a new avenue for his passion at a law firm in San Leandro, where he continued his unwavering dedication to immigrant advocacy. His adept representation has guided numerous clients through the intricate asylum process, boasting a remarkable success rate, particularly among individuals from Haryana and Punjab, India.

Driven by a desire to broaden his impact, Ryan has teamed up with Shahzeen to extend Immigration and Naturalization services across the country. He holds a license to practice law in California and remains an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

Ryan's academic journey includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a specialization in International Relations, followed by a Juris Doctorate from The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Beyond being a legal professional, Ryan is a steadfast advocate for the rights of immigrants, bringing empathy, skill, and dedication to every case he handles. Ryan is not only known for his legal acumen but also for his calm and composed demeanor, which brings comfort to his clients in times of uncertainty. His ability to maintain composure in the courtroom while delivering results has earned him admiration among his clientele.His contributions have played a pivotal role in preserving the unity, happiness, and safety of numerous families within the United States.

Shahzeen Karim

Shahzeen Karim is a seasoned litigator renowned for her dedication to client advocacy and assertive courtroom demeanor. With a wealth of experience in immigration and a passion for making an impact, Shahzeen brings a dynamic approach to the practice of law. 

In Chicago, Shahzeen began her career in criminal law, excelling in litigation across misdemeanor and felony courts in Cook County.

Upon relocating to Texas, Shahzeen specialized in immigration law, initially focusing on family-based immigration where she guided clients through VAWA benefits, U Visas, hardship waivers, adjustment of status, and naturalization. She then moved to business immigration, representing hundreds employers seeking work authorization and employment visas for their employees through PERM Labor Certification applications, immigrant petitions and applications for permanent residence within the U.S. and at U.S. Consulates abroad.

Based on her experience and tenacity, Shahzeen was offered a position with the Department of Homeland Security in San Francisco.  However, she persisted in her steadfast dedication to advocate for individuals in critical need of aid, representing asylum seekers in immigration court proceedings for one of the largest removal defense firms in San Francisco. That is where she met her colleague, Ryan. 

Though Shahzeen is now based in Dallas again, she continues to represent clients with her partner in California. She is licensed in Illinois and has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association since 2016. 

Shahzeen earned her Juris Doctorate from DePaul University. She also graduated with honors from University of Illinois-Chicago with a double major in Criminal Justice and Philosophy.
